Restaurant Week in New York City

Submitted by on May 30, 2011 – 5:39 pmNo Comment

Your Road Trips Foodie knows that it’s really too hot to visit Manhattan in July, but when there’s a lure as seductive as the summer Restaurant Week, well, maybe she just might be tempted.

This year’s dates are July 11 through 24, 2011. It’s the 20th year for the annual event, sponsored by NYC & Company, New York City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization.

For the 12th consecutive season, prices for the prix-fixe three-course meals will remain $24.07 for lunch and $35 for dinner (excluding beverages, taxes and gratuities). Diners will be able to take advantage of the limited-time value Mondays through Fridays; Saturdays are excluded and Sundays are optional for participating restaurants.
