Cheesemaking Classes in Washington State

A couple of cheesemaking classes might tempt a Road Trips Foodie to the country’s northwest corner in the coming months.

First up at River Valley Ranch, 34920 SE Fall City-Snoqualmie Road, Fall City, Washington, is a session on “Cow & Goat Cheese With All the Holiday Extras”, set for 2 to 5 p.m. November 19, 2011.

If that doesn’t fit your travel schedule, consider “Camembert & Provolone — from cow’s milk”. It’s 2 to 5 p.m. December 10, 2011. (The November class is $75, the December one, $145.)

The classes often do sell out in advance, so before you set your driving itinerary, go online and register.

Even if you don’t want to take a cheesemaking class, do stop by if you’re in the area and get some cheese to enjoy on the road.
