A Pair of Seafood Festivals

Submitted by on February 28, 2012 – 12:08 amNo Comment

The Peace River Seafood Festival takes place March 10 and 11, 2012, in Laishley Park (map), Punta Gorda, Florida.

Admission is $1 at the gate, Road Trips Foodies, and parking is free. There’ll be plenty of seafood vendors plus the usual arts & crafts vendors.

For more art – and seafood – head for nearby Placida the following weekend for their Seafood Festival. It takes place at the Fishery Restaurant, 13000 Fishery Road, Placida, Florida (map), March 17 and 18, 2012. Parking is $3.

About 100 vendors are expected, some serving local seafood and others offering nautical antiques, artwork and crafts.
