If you want a souvenir of your travels down Route 66, Mr. C’s Route Post (located at 24200 East Route 66, Lebanon, Missouri – map) has a metaphorical slice of “The Mother Road” in just your size. Mr. C’s has just about everything “Route 66”, including T-Shirts, Mugs, watches, clocks, neon signs, decals and much more.

“We profess that we have the largest variety of Route 66 items in the Ozarks,” said Scott Cameron, owner of Mr. C’s Route Post. “On Route 66 there’s a lot of souvenir stores, but there won’t be many that have the different kinds of merchandise that we do. There’s not a lot of that we won’t have.”

In fact, at Mr. C’s, you can even whet your whistle with one of five different flavors of Route 66 Sodas – root beer, lime, cream soda, orange and black cherry – owned and made by Mr. C himself.

“About five years ago, we purchased the Route 66 soda line,” said Cameron. “They had Root Beer, Lime and Orange formulas at that time, but we came up with the Cream Soda and the Black Cherry recipes on our own. They’re all really good and are a great seller. Our bottle packaging is also internationally known. We managed to win a 2010 Clear Choice Award granted by the Glass Packaging Institute as recognition of our quality glass packaging design and materials. That was quite an honor when you’re being mentioned in the same sentence with the likes of Anheuser-Busch, Miller and Samuel Adams.”
