Roll on by the Columbus Botanical Garden, 3603 Weems Road, Columbus, Georgia (map) and participate in a cooking class. Molly Day will be in the kitchen at the garden demonstrating quick bread basics from 10 a.m. til noon Saturday (February 2, 2013). She’ll be showing how to create perfect loaves, both sweet and savory.

Recipe selections will depend on what´s locally available at class time – anything from apples to zucchini. While the dough bakes, participants will create flavorful herb and spice spreads. Afterwards, quick bread samples will be provided. You will take home easy recipes as well as savory and sweet spreads.

Cost is $20 per person.
