Foodways Texas Symposium

texas_foodways-2014“Farm to Market 2014″ is the theme for the fourth annual Foodways Texas Symposium to be held March 20 through 22, 2014, in the Agrilife Center facility on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

The weekend starts March 20 with a welcome dinner and introduction to the symposium. The next two days will be spent discussing Texas crops and crop history, farm labor, urban farm zoning, drought and abundance, the extension service, and more.

The $300 ticket price includes the symposium sessions as well as seven meals cooked by chefs and artisans from around Texas.
