Immerse Yourself in the World of Jelly Belly

Submitted by on February 26, 2017 – 8:25 amNo Comment

Jelly BellyA confession: your Road Trips Foodie loves, loves, loves Jelly Belly candies. If they’re on your list of yummy treats, consider bending your travel itinerary to take in a stop at a Jelly Belly Visitor Center.

There are two possibilities: 10100 Jelly Belly Lane, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and 1 Jelly Belly Lane, Fairfield, California.

Wisconsin: It’s just a visitor center with a warehouse — not a factory — in Wisconsin, but nevertheless “sweet sensations and a world of delight await”. Board the free Jelly Belly Express Train Tour for a trip through the warehouse and (of course) taste some of the jelly beans. The half-hour train ride makes stops at a variety of “stations” with large screen video monitors showing the company’s century of candy making and how candy corn, jelly beans, gummies and more are made.

Look for Mr. Jelly Belly overhead, Jelly Belly Bean art, a chorus line of dancing Jelly Belly characters, and giant Jelly Belly jelly beans overhead as you travel down “Candy Alley”. Once in the shop, Road Trips Foodies surely will stop at the Sample Bar where visitors can try each and every flavor of Jelly Belly jelly beans, along with any other new or favorite confection on the menu.

California: Here’s where Road Trips Foodies can see a Jelly Belly factory in action on a self-guided walking tour. (Free samples here, too.)
