Vodka Museum Opens in Warsaw, Poland

Vodka Museum, Warsaw, PolandRoad Trips Foodies headed to Warsaw, Poland, have a new attraction to check out. The new Vodka Museum is dedicated to honoring and celebrating the centuries-long tradition of crafting Polish Vodka.

The definition of Polish Vodka specifies that it can be made only from traditional Polish cereals (rye, barley, oats, wheat, triticale) or potatoes — and the entire production process must take place exclusively in Poland.

The museum is housed in the Koneser Praga Center in the capital city. It takes visitors on a journey through several centuries of vodka history via five thematic exhibitions and a screening room. (There’s also the Vodka Academy Bar serving Polish Vodka and food pairings.)

Located in the heart of Warsaw’s traditional vodka industry, the museum is in a 19th century historic distillation plant in the regenerated Praga-Pólnoc district. The complex of neo-Gothic buildings was once home to flagship Polish vodka brands Luksusowa and Wyborowa.
