One doesn’t generally think of English gardeners and chili peppers in the same garden, but culinary trends are sweeping the British Isles.

Check out the spicier side of vegetable growing, Road Trips Gardeners during Chilli Pepper Weekend. It’ll be held Saturday and Sunday (September 18 and 19, 2010), in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Garden Hyde Hall, Westerns Approach Rettendon, Chelmsford, England. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

There’ll be plant displays, food stalls, growing advice and chilli pepper tasting for the brave at this feast for the senses.
