On your way to England, Road Trips Gardeners? There’s a great late summer flower show at Wisley Garden September 10-12, 2010.

More than 40 nurseries and garden trade stands will be exhibiting, many of which are Chelsea or Hampton Court Palace Flower Show gold medal winners. The National Association of Flower Arranging Societies is providing some 100 displays in the Floral Marquee. This year’s theme is Floral Fantasy.

Interested in ornamental grasses? On September 11 and 12, Chelsea gold medal winner Neil Lucas of Knoll Gardens will be giving talks and planting demonstrations on ornamental grasses and their uses in containers and companion planting. Presentations are at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day in the Wisley Plant Centre.

Sponsored by the Royal Horticultural Society, the show is in the Wisley Garden, Woking, Surrey, England. Adult admission is £9.50 per person.
