Thomasville Rose Show

Submitted by on November 4, 2010 – 12:55 amNo Comment

The 90th Annual Rose Show & Festival will be held in downtown Thomasville, Georgia, April 21 through 23, 2011.

Of course, it’s more than roses, although there is definitely a rose show under the big top near the corner of Broad Street and Remington Avenue that opens at 1:30 p.m. April 22 and continues the next day. There’s also an orchid show both April 22 and 23 inside the Genealogical Library at 135 North Broad Street. And, then there are the community events: the children’s parade at 7 p.m. April 21, the Rose Parade at 7 p.m. followed by street dance on April 22 and even more on April 23 (including 70th Annual Civic Garden Club Flower Show).

Road Trips Gardeners are making their travel plans already. There’s information on visiting Thomasville online.
