The Hibiscus Show is sponsored by the Sunrise-Conrad Chapter of the American Hibiscus Society, which also will have a sales booth. In addition to hibiscus, palms, orchids, bamboo, begonias, bromeliads, fruit trees and many other types of plants will be for sale.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 16 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17. Admission is $10 per person.

Mounts Botanical Garden displays tropical and subtropical plants from around the world, including plants native to Florida, exotic trees, tropical fruit, herbs, citrus and palms.

Psst: if you’ll be in South Florida in November, the fall show and sale is November 5 and 6, 2011.
