Your Road Trips Gardener doesn’t usually spotlight package tours, but this is one she’d like to take herself.

Offered by the five-star Milestone Hotel, 1 Kensington Court, London, England (within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea), this package offers admission to the oft-sold-out Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show plus two horticulture masterclasses.

Pascal Lavorel, a London floral arranger, will lead a masterclass in how to design and make a hand tied bouquet. And, the Milestone’s Executive Chef Ryan O’Flynn will demonstrate how to make a picture perfect seasonal salad, complete with edible flowers, roasted beets and a white balsamic dressing.

Interested? The Chelsea Flower Show Experience (with a minimum two-night stay) is valid from May 24 to 28, 2011, and costs £470 per night (plus VAT) based on two people sharing a Deluxe King Room. It includes overnight accommodation, full English breakfast on both days, two -full day tickets to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the 60 -minute Floral Master Class, the 45-minute Culinary Master Class and a Champagne afternoon tea in the conservatory for two on one afternoon of your choice. Bonus: Kensington Palace and Gardens are just across the road.

The Milestone is part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, a family-run collection of boutique hotels, and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
