“Flower” of the Day: Prickly Pear Cactus

OK, Road Trips Gardeners, you’ve probably noticed that there are no flowers on this gigantic prickly pear cactus.

Wasn’t the season for blooms, they told our intrepid photographer.

No matter. It’ll spring forth in, well spring! This cluster of prickly plants was captured in Israel last month.
