Grow gourds, Road Trips Gardeners?

Come see what the Illinois Gourd Society has to offer at its annual show and sale in the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, Illinois (map).

The show, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. September 15 and 16, 2012, includes themed and educational displays. Society members and growers will be on hand to answer questions. Vendors will sell crafted gourds of all kinds in addition to dry gourds, seeds, tools, and supplies. Several workshops will be offered through the Chicago Botanic Garden.
