The Art of Espalier

espalierThe history, techniques and suitable plants for espalier will be discussed by Helen Phillips, horticulturalist at Garden Solutions, during a 10 a.m. workshop March 2, 2013, at Hills & Dales Estate, 1916 Hills and Dales Drive, LaGrange, Georgia (map).

She also will demonstrate how to espalier a sasanqua camellia, and then lead a tour in the garden to look at examples.

If you’re passing through, Road Trips Gardeners, sign up for this two hour session at $35/person. Each participant will receive a fruit tree ready to be espaliered.
