canada_ontario_rbg_orchidshowThe annual show sponsored by the Orchid Society of the Royal Botanical Gardens is set for March 2 and 3, 2013, in the RGB Centre, 680 Plains Road West, Burlington, Ontario, Canada (map).

The exhibition showcases the beauty and diversity of orchids. Judged by the American Orchid Society, it features orchid displays by societies and growers from across Canada and the United States.

There are also exhibits of flower arrangements, painting, photographs and plant sales.

Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday (only photographers will be admitted between 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday). If you go here, you can download a coupon for discounted admission.
