illinois_chicago_flowergardenshowRoad Trips Gardeners still have time to catch the Chicago Flower & Garden Show on Navy Pier, 600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, Illinois (map).

Although it opened last Saturday, the show runs through March 17, 2013.

The show’s 20-plus gardens have drawn inspiration from the art world as they present “The Art of Gardening”. More than 100 vendors of gardening, landscape and horticulture products and services are showcasing their wares.

The American Institute of Floral Designers (AFID) has teamed up with the art world to present an interpretive exhibit of art and floral. Designers from the North Central Chapter of AIFD are presenting “The Art of Floral”.
