georgia_atlanta_orchidsocietyshowThe Atlanta Orchid Society will host an orchid show in the Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia (map).

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 8 through 10, 2013.

In addition to hundreds of orchids on display and for sale, there will be orchid supplies and educational programs about the tropical blooms.

The Atlanta Orchid Society was formed in 1947 as a non-profit organization for people to learn about orchids, share their knowledge and experiences, and promote their love of orchids. It is one of some 550 local societies affiliated with the American Orchid Society.
