Multiplying Plants

leaf_propagationHey, Road Trips Gardeners, do you want to propagate some of your favorite plants to share with friends?

During a workshop at 10 a.m. May 18, 2013, members of the horticultural staff at Hills & Dales Estate, 1916 Hills and Dales Drive, LaGrange, Georgia (map), will show how to propagate a variety of ornamental garden plants in a hands-on session that includes propagating from stem cuttings, leaf cuttings and divisions. Air-layering also will be demonstrated.

Cost is $30 per person, and each participant drives away with a tray of newly propagated plants.
