georgia_lagrange_xmaswreath2Road Trips Gardeners who are snowbirds: if you’re traveling through Georgia on your way to Florida early next month, consider scheduling a stop at Hills & Dales Estate, 1916 Hills and Dales Drive, LaGrange, Georgia (map) on the way.

Get ready for the holidays by creating a Christmas wreath to take to your winter abode using fresh greenery, holly berries and a holiday bow during a workshop from 10 a.m. ’til noon December 7, 2013.

Estate horticulturist Jo Phillips will conduct this workshop. (Bring clippers if you travel with ’em.) All other supplies will be provided, including fresh greens from the garden. Cost is $35 per person.
