national-garden-clubsThe 2014 convention of the National Garden Clubs is set for April 30 through May 3, 2014, in Embassy Suites Norman Hotel & Convention Center, 2501 Conference Drive, Norman, Oklahoma.

Theme for the 85th annual confab is “Black Gold & Red Earth”.

Among the many tours is one to the Myriad Botanical Gardens, a 17-acre natural escape in the very heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Its primary feature is the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory: a 224-foot living plant museum featuring palm trees, tropical plants and flowers, waterfalls and animals.
