scotland_royal-caledonian-logoThe annual Spring Flower Showsponsored by the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society will be held March 29 and 30, 2014, in the Fletcher Building of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Inverleith Row, Edinburgh, Scotland. Hours both days are noon to 5 p.m.

Look for all the blooms of springtime, especially all sorts of daffodils, hyacinths and tulips. There also will be Alpine plants, woodland plants and other flowering bulbs.

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is situated off the A902, one mile north of the city centre, with entrances on Inverleith Row (East Gate) and Arboretum Place (West Gate and John Hope Gateway).

In case you were wondering, Road Trips Gardeners, Caledonia is the Latin name given by the Romans to the land in today’s Scotland — that is, north of the frontier of the Roman province of Britannia.
