spain_cordoba_battle-flowersMay Day — May 1 — is celebrated in many different ways.

Each year in Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain, they stage a “Battle of the Flowers” — May 1, 2014, this year.

The parade kicks off a month of flowery activities in Córdoba, including a Courtyards competition and a Window Grilles and Balconies contest.
