indiana_indianapolis_orchard-in-bloomIf you’re wandering the Midwest the first weekend in May, Road Trips Gardeners, consider a detour through central Indiana, for Orchard in Bloom.

The garden show, now in its 25th year, will take place May 2 through 4, 2014 (yes: rain or shine). A partnership between The Orchard School and Indy Parks, the show is located in Holliday Park, 6363 Spring Mill Road, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Landscapes are created using in-season plants available locally. Select landscapers are invited to showcase their newest ideas for the coming season. Microgardens are planted at various sites throughout the show.
