california_union-city_bonsaiThe 43rd annual Bonsai Exhibition of the Yamato Bonsai Kai is set for October 19 and 19, 2014, at Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church, 32975 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, California.

Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A demonstration each day at 2 p.m. features Johnny Uchida working with advanced Black Pine material to create bonsai.

There will be a large vendor and plant sales area, free admission and parking. Doctor Bonsai support will be available.
