Malaysia_grandmillennium-christmasThe tradition of holiday decorations reaches as far as a Muslim-majority tropical country in Southeast Asia.

This splendid arrangement was on view in the soaring lobby of the Grand Millennium Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last December.

While evergreens are definitely more temperate climate than tropical, the poinsettias seem right at home.
