newyork_albany_flower-showThe first sign of spring in upstate New York is the Capital District Garden & Flower Show. The McDonough Physical Education Complex at Hudson Valley Community College, 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy, New York, is transforms into a garden lover’s paradise from 10 a.m. til 8 p.m. March 27, 2015.

Promised are flowers in full bloom plus waterfalls and ponds. There’ will be 17,000 square feet of gardens, more than 100 flower arrangement exhibits, continuous lectures, workshops and demonstrations, wine tastings and 190 garden-themed retail exhibits.

Admission is $12 at the door.
