indiana_orleans_dogwoodThe 47th Dogwood Festival is set for April 29 through May 2, 2015, in Orleans, Indiana.

Sponsored by the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, it’s centered on Historic Congress Square downtown, but the dogwood will be flowering all over. There also will be carnival rides, games, children’s activities, an arts & crafts fair, a parade, food and live entertainment. A full schedule of events is online.

This year is Orleans’ Bicentennial Celebration — it was founded a year before Indiana became a state.
