Plant City, FloridaThe annual Flower Show sponsored by the Plant City Garden Club will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. November 11, 2017, in Plant City 1914 High School Community Center, 605 North Collins Street, Plant City, Florida.

This year’s theme is “Victory of the Grand Alliance“, perhaps because it’s being held in conjunction with Pioneer Heritage Day. Parking and admission are free.

Note: Plant City wasn’t named for green, growing things but for Florida railroad developer Henry B. Plant. The town is the “winter strawberry capital” and hosts the annual Florida Strawberry Festival.
