Wine & Movie Night

Submitted by on July 17, 2011 – 8:46 pmNo Comment

What’s better than a wine tasting? A wine tasting plus a dinner plus a movie! The fourth annual “Wine & Movie Night” will be held July 23, 2011, at Balistreri Vineyards, 1946 East 66th Avenue, Denver, Colorado. Tickets are $39 per person (plus tax).

Dinner is served at 7:30 p.m., with the movie starting at 9 p.m. The Italian flick is Gianni Di Gregorio’s film, Mid-August Lunch (Pranzo di Ferragosto) — there’s a preview here.

What’s on the menu? Here’s just a glimpse: artisan cheeses, bruschettas, wood-fired pizza, Italian sausage sliders, gelato made with Balistreri wine — and popcorn (what’s a movie without popcorn?), except this comes in Parmesan, lemon pepper and truffle varieties. One glass of Balistreri wine is included, but of course you can purchase more by the glass or by the bottle.

The event is co-sponsored by Balistreri Vineyards and Dream Italia. Proceeds benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates of Adams & Broomfield counties.
