Hops, Shops and Chardonnay
Here’s a nice walk on a fall evening: Hops, Shops and Chardonnay.
From 6 to 9 p.m. October 21, 2012, you can stroll the shops of Jeffersonville, Indiana (just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky), sampling beer and wine along the way.
Of course, because this event involves beer and wine, it operates under the laws and regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverages. All visitors who are planning on sampling must show proof of legal drinking age when they stop by the registration tent in Glossbrenner Garden on the day of the event (directions).
Hops, Shops & Chardonnay is a tasting event that is designed to allow sampling of a wide variety of different wines and brews. The amount of wine or brew that is poured as a sample tasting is controlled to a limit of approximately .5 ounces.
